Air Doctor AI Health Assistant — Terms of Service

Effective: January 2026

Applies to: Air Doctor AI Health Assistant features within Air Doctor's website/app ("Platform"). These AI Terms supplement (and do not replace) Air Doctor's main Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Quick Summary (not a substitute for the full Terms)

  • Air Doctor connects travelers/expats with verified local doctors for in-person or online consultations.
  • The AI Health Assistant is informational support and helps you navigate the Platform; it is not a doctor and may be wrong.
  • Not for emergencies. Use local emergency services immediately.
  • If you book care through Air Doctor, the medical provider—not the AI—delivers medical services.
  • Your information may be shared with doctors, insurers, and assistance companies as needed to provide the service (per Privacy Policy).

1) Definitions

"Air Doctor," "we," "us," "our": Air Doctor and its affiliates operating the Platform.

"AI Health Assistant": AI-powered features that provide general guidance, triage-style prompts, Platform navigation help, and drafting assistance (e.g., what to ask a doctor).

"Practitioner": A medical professional listed on the Platform.

"Booking Request": A request you submit through the Platform to schedule services with a Practitioner.

"Output": Any text, guidance, or suggestions generated by the AI Health Assistant.

"Your Content": Information you enter (symptoms, travel context, questions, documents you upload where supported).

2) What the AI Health Assistant Is (and Is Not)

2.1 What it is

The AI Health Assistant helps you:

  • Understand how Air Doctor works and how to book care with local doctors worldwide.
  • Organize your symptoms/questions and prepare for a consultation.
  • Find relevant Platform options (specialty, language, appointment type), subject to availability.

2.2 What it is not

  • Not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Not a substitute for a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Not guaranteed accurate; Output may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

3) Emergency and High-Risk Use Restrictions

Do not use the AI Health Assistant for emergencies or urgent/life-threatening issues. If you suspect an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

Also do not rely on the AI Assistant for:

  • Severe or rapidly worsening symptoms (e.g., chest pain, breathing difficulty, stroke symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, loss of consciousness).
  • Situations requiring immediate in-person evaluation.

Air Doctor may provide prompts directing you to urgent care; you are responsible for seeking appropriate care.

4) Eligibility

You must be 18+ to use the Platform and related services.

If you use the Services on behalf of someone else, you represent you are authorized to do so.

5) Accounts, Bookings, and Care Delivery

5.1 Account & accuracy

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

5.2 Practitioner relationship

When you book, the Practitioner provides medical services. Air Doctor provides the Platform for discovery and booking and makes reasonable efforts regarding practitioner participation/licensing, but you remain responsible for selecting your Practitioner.

5.3 Availability and language

Availability may vary by location and other factors.

6) Payments, Insurance, and Refunds (Platform-Dependent)

  • Prices, coverage, and whether you pay upfront can depend on the country, Practitioner, and your insurer/assistance arrangement.
  • Some insurance partners provide cashless/direct billing solutions in certain cases; medication may still require out-of-pocket payment depending on the arrangement.

Any refunds, cancellations, or dispute handling follow the Platform flow and/or the Practitioner's policy, unless required otherwise by applicable law.

7) Privacy, Data Use, and Sharing

Air Doctor's Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

In order to operate and provide services, you understand that Air Doctor may need to share your information (including information received from physicians) with:

  • Insurance companies
  • Assistance companies
  • Physicians/Practitioners to request appointments
  • Service providers under confidentiality safeguards

You should not submit information you do not want processed for these purposes.

8) AI Output: No Guarantees + Your Responsibilities

You agree that:

  • Output is informational only and can be wrong.
  • You will verify important information with a qualified healthcare professional.
  • You will not delay necessary care because of Output.
  • You are responsible for how you use Output, including what you share with Practitioners, insurers, or others.

9) Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt services, scrape content, reverse engineer, or violate security protections.
  • Use the AI Assistant to generate or submit misleading medical information, impersonate others, or engage in fraud.
  • Upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
  • Use Output or Platform content in ways that violate third-party rights.

(These obligations align with Air Doctor's Platform restrictions and enforcement rights.)

10) Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, content, and related intellectual property, is owned by or licensed to Air Doctor.

You receive a limited right to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial use subject to these Terms and the Platform Terms.

11) Disclaimers

THE AI HEALTH ASSISTANT AND PLATFORM ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." Air Doctor does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free Output, or that Output will meet your needs.

Air Doctor does not practice medicine via the AI Health Assistant. Medical care is delivered by Practitioners.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Air Doctor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the AI Health Assistant or reliance on Output. Additional liability limits may apply as stated in the Platform Terms.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Air Doctor harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the AI Health Assistant/Platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights (as further described in the Platform Terms).

14) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security, legal compliance, or operational reasons (consistent with Platform termination provisions).

15) Governing Law and Venue

These AI Terms follow the governing law and venue provisions of Air Doctor's Platform Terms (which reference the laws of the State of Israel and courts in Tel Aviv District, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you).

16) Changes to These Terms

We may update these AI Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
